What the price covers
FOB is the garment made to your specification in stock fabric and delivered to the Egyptian port. The break applies per style, per colour, across all sizes: 100 tees in one colour are priced at the 50–499 break, whatever the size split. The number of logo positions and the size of the embroidery move the price, so they are costed with your tech pack.
What polos, shirts, suits, scrubs and chef coats are priced on
These are costed to your tech pack, and we reply with a price within two working days. The price moves with:
- The fabric: piqué, poplin, poly-cotton twill or suiting
- The construction: a suit jacket or a chef coat has far more sewing operations than a polo
- Pockets and trims: scrub pockets, chef coat buttons, zips and epaulettes
- The number of logo positions
- Custom-dyed colours, which also bring in the mill's higher minimum
How to lower the cost per employee
- Put the volume into fewer colours: the break counts per colour, so one colour across the company reaches the lower breaks sooner
- Use one style across several roles where you can
- Order every size together: the minimum and the breaks count across sizes
- Stay in the stock colours, so there is no lab dip and no mill minimum
- Order a few spares in the common sizes, so a new starter does not trigger a 50-piece reorder
