Quality and inspection

Nothing is cut before you approve the PP sample in bulk fabric and trims. That approved sample is the standard everything is measured against. Production is checked in-line, and every consignment gets a pre-shipment inspection by our own quality specialist, covering measurements, workmanship, packing and the document pack — before it sails, not after it lands. Lots are sampled and judged to AQL 2.5.

What is checked

On the garment

  • Measurements against the approved spec and tolerance
  • Workmanship: seams, stitch density, finishing
  • Colour against the approved lab dip
  • Fabric weight and hand against the PP sample
  • Trims, labels and hardware against the bill of materials

On packing and documents

  • Carton count, markings and assortment
  • Polybag, hangtag and label placement
  • Quantity reconciled against the packing list
  • HS code consistent across the document pack

If a lot fails inspection

01

Our specialist inspects every lot

As your sourcing agent, we send our own quality specialist to the factory to inspect and review every lot to AQL 2.5 before it ships. If it fails, nothing leaves the factory, and you get the report within 24 hours, with photos and the count of each defect.

02

We get it fixed — you don't deal with the factory

We stand in the middle between you and the factory. We have the factory check the whole lot piece by piece and rework or replace every defective garment, and we settle any cost of that with the factory. It is never added to your invoice.

03

Re-inspected and reviewed before it ships

Our specialist inspects the lot again to the same AQL 2.5 standard and reviews the repairs before anything ships. Any cost of the second inspection is settled between us and the factory, not passed to you.

04

Your balance waits for a pass

The balance is due only after the lot passes inspection.

05

You choose what happens after a delay

If the rework moves ex-factory more than 14 days past the confirmed date, you decide: wait, ship the pieces that passed, or cancel the affected quantity and get its deposit back.

06

30 days to report hidden defects

Some defects only show after delivery, like a seam that opens or colour that runs in the first wash. Report them within 30 days of receiving the goods, with photos and a count, and we credit each confirmed piece at its FOB price or replace it in your next order.

07

What is not covered

Anything that matches the pre-production sample you signed, damage after the goods leave the Egyptian port, and normal wear.

What ships with the goods

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Certificate of origin
  • EUR.1 movement certificate for EU shipments
  • QIZ documentation for US shipments
  • Pre-shipment inspection report
  • Fabric and trim purchase records
  • Spinner and gin documentation for fibre-origin enquiries
Most lost repeat orders are document failures, not quality failures. A container held at the destination port over a paperwork error costs the buyer demurrage and costs the supplier the next season. That is why the document pack is inspected as carefully as the garments.
