Our factories: QIZ only
We only source from factories that meet QIZ requirements. No exceptions, so every US order qualifies for duty-free entry. We name the factory that manufactures your order — it appears on the documents anyway. What we add is choosing the right one, holding it to your specification, and assembling the paperwork that spans the gin, the spinner, the mill and the factory.
What a factory has to clear before we use it

| 01 | Meets QIZ requirements | Non-negotiable, and checked first. A factory that does not meet QIZ requirements is not used, whatever its price or capacity. It is what makes every US order duty-free. |
| 02 | Yarn and fibre origin | Where the yarn comes from, and whether purchase records and gin documentation are obtainable. A factory that will not answer this is not usable for a US programme. |
| 03 | Egyptian Cotton™ accreditation | Whether the mill sits in the accredited chain, and its licence number. |
| 04 | Current social audit | BSCI, Sedex or equivalent, in date and in scope. |
| 05 | OEKO-TEX Standard 100 | Current certificate with number and scope. |
| 06 | Real available capacity | Committed capacity is not the same as stated capacity. |
| 07 | Minimum flexibility | Whether the factory will genuinely open a line at 50 pieces per colour on stock fabric. |
| 08 | Acceptance of inspection | A factory that resists third-party pre-shipment inspection ends the conversation. |
Use this list on us too. If you would rather place directly, take these eight questions to any Egyptian factory you are talking to. A supplier whose value depends on you not knowing how to screen them is not worth having. What we sell is that the screening is already done and the documents already assembled — see compliance.
