How to order custom staff uniforms from a manufacturer

Choose one or two pieces per role, count your staff by size, and order at least 50 pieces per style, per colour, spread across the sizes. Send a tech pack or a reference garment, approve the samples, and allow 15–30 days from sample approval to ex-factory. Keep the approved pre-production sample as the standard for every reorder.

Choose the pieces by role

Most uniform programmes need two or three pieces per role, not a whole range:

  • Office and front desk: work shirt, suit jacket and suit trouser
  • Retail and events: polo shirt or tee with a chino
  • Kitchens: chef coat and apron
  • Clinics: scrub top and scrub trouser
  • Warehouse and field teams: cargo trouser, chore coat and hoodie

Count sizes, not just people

The minimum is 50 pieces per style, per colour, and it counts across all sizes. A team of 60 might need 6 small, 18 medium, 20 large, 10 XL and 6 2XL: that is 60 polos in one colour, above the minimum. Sizes run from S to 6XL, so the whole team is covered in one order.

Decide colour and logo once

The stock colours (black, white, red, blue, olive green and burgundy) are available at the 50-piece minimum; any other colour is custom-dyed and carries the mill's higher minimum. Put every logo position in the tech pack, so the logo sits in the same place on every piece and on every reorder.

Approve the samples properly

The pre-production sample is made in the bulk fabric and trims. Check it on real staff in the sizes you order most, because nothing is cut before you sign it off, and that sample becomes the standard the bulk is inspected against.

Plan reorders and new starters

A reorder is made to the pre-production sample you approved, so new staff get the same garment, and the minimum stays 50 pieces per style, per colour. A few spares in the common sizes cover new starters between reorders.

Duty

Into the US: 0% — goods from QIZ-certified factories enter the United States duty-free. Into the EU: 0% with a EUR.1 certificate, because the fabric is made in Egypt.

Questions

What is the minimum order for staff uniforms?

50 pieces per style, per colour, on stock fabric, spread across your sizes. Each style and each colour counts on its own.

Do I need a tech pack to order uniforms?

No. Send your tech pack or a reference garment with the quantity per size and colour, and we reply with a price within two working days.

How long does it take to get custom uniforms made?

Samples first: proto 5–7 days, fit 3–5, pre-production 5–7. Then 15–30 days from your approval to ex-factory, for orders up to 10,000 pieces. Transit time depends on the route, port and carrier, so we give it with your quote.

Can different teams wear different pieces in one order?

Yes. Each style carries its own minimum of 50 pieces per colour, so a kitchen's chef coats and a front desk's suits can ship in the same order.

How do we reorder uniforms for new staff?

Send the quantity per size. The reorder is made to your approved pre-production sample, with the same minimum of 50 pieces per style, per colour.
