What private label means here

Your labels, your packaging, your spec. Everything is made for your label, not ours: you set the fabric, fit, trims and branding, the factory makes the garment to the pre-production sample you approve, and it ships FOB with your labels sewn in and your packaging on.

  • Your spec: fabric, fit, measurements, colours and trims, from your tech pack or a reference garment.
  • Your branding: embroidered logo, woven label, printed care label, hangtags & swing tickets, custom hardware and branded packaging. In Europe the fibre composition has to be on the garment by law, so your label carries it.
  • Your sample: nothing is cut before you approve the pre-production sample, and every reorder is made to it.

Send a tech pack or a reference garment

A tech pack gives the most accurate price. If you do not have one yet, send a reference garment and your notes, and we tell you what is missing before we cost it. For the branding, add vector artwork, your label copy and where each mark goes. We reply with a price within two working days.

Three sample rounds before your label goes into production

Each sample stage ends in your written approval before anything moves forward. Samples cost $20 per sample, which covers shipping it to you.

  • Proto sample, 5–7 days: From an approved tech pack. First physical read on fit and construction.
  • Fit sample, 3–5 days: After your comments on the proto. More fit rounds extend this stage.
  • Pre-production sample, 5–7 days: Pre-production sample in bulk fabric and trims. Nothing is cut before you sign it off.

Duty routes

How a private label order runs

  1. 1

Send a tech pack or a reference garment

Start from the blocks on this page, your own tech pack, or a garment you already like, with the quantity per size and colour. We come back with a price within two working days.

  2. 2

    Proto sample · 5–7 days

From an approved tech pack. First physical read on fit and construction.

  3. 3

    Fit sample · 3–5 days

After your comments on the proto. More fit rounds extend this stage.

  4. 4

    Pre-production sample · 5–7 days

Pre-production sample in bulk fabric and trims. Nothing is cut before you sign it off.

  5. 5

Fabric and production · 15–30 days

From your PP sample approval to ex-factory, for orders up to 10,000 pieces.

  6. 6

    Inspection · AQL 2.5

A lot that fails does not ship: our specialist has it fixed and re-inspected, and any cost is settled with the factory, not passed to you.

  7. 7

    Shipped FOB with the paperwork

Delivered to the Egyptian port with the export documents: QIZ documentation for the US, a EUR.1 for the EU.

From an approved tech pack, the published stages add up to 28–49 days to ex-factory: proto, fit and pre-production samples, then fabric and production.

Why brands use Sourcing EG for private label

  • We work on your side, not the factory's. We deal with these factories every day, so we negotiate lower prices for you than a one-off buyer would get.
  • Our own specialist inspects every lot to AQL 2.5. A lot that fails does not ship: our specialist has it fixed and re-inspected, and any cost is settled with the factory, not passed to you.
  • We only source from factories that meet QIZ requirements, so your order enters the US duty-free, and the EU at 0% with a EUR.1.
  • Everything is made for your label, not ours, and the producing factory is named on your order and on the export documents.

Questions about private label clothing

Can I put my own labels and packaging on it?

Yes: embroidered logo, woven label, printed care label, hangtags & swing tickets, custom hardware and branded packaging. Everything is made for your label, not ours, from 50 pieces per style, per colour.

What is the minimum for private label?

50 pieces per style, per colour, on stock fabric, spread across your sizes. Custom-dyed or printed fabric carries the mill's own, higher minimum, and we confirm it before quoting.

Can you copy a garment I already own?

Yes, as a starting point. Send it as a reference garment with your notes on what to keep and what to change, and we tell you what is missing before we cost it. The proto sample is made from that brief, and the fit sample corrects the fit before anything is cut in bulk.

Can you make a matching hoodie and jogger set?

Yes. The hoodie, crewneck and jogger are made in the same fleece from one fabric booking, so the set is cut from one fabric. Each piece is on the fleece break: $8.90 at 50–499, $7.90 at 500–1,999 and $6.90 at 2,000+ pieces, per style, per colour.

Do you do private label jeans and scrubs?

Yes. Jeans come in 8 blocks, in indigo or black stock denim and waist sizes 28–44, from $15 per piece FOB; scrubs come as a top and a trouser cut from one fabric booking, priced on request. Both are costed to your tech pack, and we reply with a price within two working days.

How long does a private label order take?

Samples first: proto 5–7 days, fit 3–5 days, pre-production 5–7 days. Then 15–30 days from your PP sample approval to ex-factory, for orders up to 10,000 pieces. From an approved tech pack, the published stages add up to 28–49 days to ex-factory: proto, fit and pre-production samples, then fabric and production.

Do private label clothes made in Egypt enter the US and EU duty-free?

Yes. Into the US at 0%, because we only use QIZ factories. Into the EU at 0% with a EUR.1 certificate, because the fabric is made in Egypt. The QIZ documentation or the EUR.1 ships with every order.
